Sitting Volleyball Team The Average Jo-Jo’s

As part of my Sports Coaching Degree at Loughborough all the students in the class had to pick a team sport to compete with other colleges and universities. Well collectively we decided on sitting volleyball and my peers choose me as the team coach, they also named the team “Average Jo-Jo’s” Well! We were not Average we only went and won not only all the matches, we won the overall competition “Average Jo-Jo’s” turned out to be a top notch Squad.

London 2012 Trials

News from Loughborough Swimming Coaches

I have officially been entered into the
 British Gas Swimming Championships 2012 (Selection Trials for London 2012)
 The trials will take place 3rd to10th March 2012 at the Olympic Park in the Aquatics Centre in Stratford.
So far I have been entered into the 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 200m Individual Medley, and 100m Breaststroke. by the Loughborough Swimming Team Coach  here are a few photos of my fellow Loughborough Team mates who have also been entered into the London 2012 trials:-  
Fingers crossed i will do well.
The 2nd trials will be taking place in Sheffield at the British International Disability Swimming Championships in April.

First week at Loughborough

Jo-Jo enrolled on her B.Sc Honors Degree in Sports Coaching at the world renowned University/College Loughborough on the 19th September 2011

She is settling in well, and after only being there for one week she has already made an impression on her peers and consequently she has been voted in to be the female Sports Coaching – Course Representative

 Her swimming training is going well. She is now a member of the Elite Loughborough Swimming Squad

Jo-Jo PASSED her A Level’s in Philosophy, Physical Education & Psychology and has now gained enough UCAS points for her to accept her very much sought after place to study for a

Degree in Sports Coaching at Loughborough University/College.

Jo-Jo has also been offered a prestigious place as part of the Elite Loughborough University Swimming Team where she will be training with the likes of Liam Tancock and Joanne Jackson.
